What is the cost for utilizing our venue

Can we choose our own vendors for an event at the Enchanted Swan?
Yes! Absolutely! After booking, we will supply you with a list of area vendors. These are professionals in the event industry whom our team has collaborated with and that we trust to provide a great experience for our clients. While this list offers guidance, you can choose a vendor not on the list. We do require that all vendors are seasoned professionals that carry liability insurance.

Are we able to provide our own alcohol?
The Enchanted Swan does NOT provide alcohol for scheduled events.

Yes. Couples are able to provide their own alcohol. All alcohol must be served, during your event, by a professional and insured bartender. If liquor is going to be served at your event, you will be responsible for acquiring a Limited Special Occasion permit from the West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Administration. Please refer to their website for instructions on how to obtain your permit.

Is Event Liability Insurance Required?
Yes. Inexpensively through The Event Helper @ https://www.theeventhelper.com, or (often) through your personal insurance agent/company.

Can you accommodate events other than weddings?
Yes. We love weddings. However, we also host other events such as corporate meetings, parties, showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, class reunions, celebrations of life, etc.

We love your venue but are still deciding. Can you hold our date for us?
Unfortunately, no, we cannot. We book on a first come, first serve basis. When you let us know that you are ready to book, we will send you a contract to sign electronically. Once that contract is signed, we will collect half of the non-refundable rental fee. At that point, the date is officially reserved for your event.

When will our wedding rehearsal be?
The date of your rehearsal is typically the evening before your wedding. This is included in the package. We ask that your rehearsal be concluded by 9:00 PM.

What about a Rehearsal Dinner?
For an additional charge, the Enchanted Swan may be utilized for your rehearsal dinner.

Can I bring decorations and set up things for my wedding when I come to the rehearsal?
Yes. You may bring decorations and set up items for your wedding. Set-up will be scheduled for the morning of your wedding – beginning at 9 AM.

We do not allow any items to be dropped off or picked up outside of your contracted rental window. This includes all rental items, personal items, equipment, decorations, alcohol, food, etc.

Do you book more than one wedding on the same day?
No. When you book our venue for your wedding day, the venue is all yours.

Can our dog be part of our wedding?
Yes. We know how important your pets are. We do allow dogs to participate in ceremonies and/or photos, but we ask that they remain on leash at all times and that they be taken home for the reception. More details can be found about your pet’s involvement in your day on our contract. These rules do not apply to service animals.

Are Linens included in the venue rental?
Linens are included in the package deals for a maximum of 250 persons. Other wedding venue options are multiple and charged on as-ordered basis. More details will be discussed with you.

Can guests leave their cars at the venue overnight?
Yes. Absolutely. Especially when alcohol is a part of the venue, safety of all participants is of paramount importance. We encourage guests to leave their vehicles here overnight if they have been drinking at the event. We ask that vehicles be picked up the following day prior to 9:00 am.

Is the Enchanted Swan ADA compliant?
Yes. Everyone can celebrate safely.

What about parking?
Self- parking is available at the venue. Special arrangements can be made for handicapped parking.

Is a kitchen available at the Enchanted Swan?
Yes. With sink, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and counter tops. The kitchen can be used for catered food preparation only. (The caterer must be licensed/insured.)

Are horses available for use in the ceremony?
Yes. Ask us about these and other wedding options. A horse-drawn carriage is also available.

Are children welcomed?
Of course. This is a family-oriented venue.
